1. Fashion’s Night Out: Darren Criss, Anna Wintour, and Vogue

    Top: Lush. Skirt: Vince. Shoes: Prada. Sunglasses: Prada. Ring: YSL.

    I started off my first day of fashion week in this menswear-inspired outfit. I love how airy and light the shirt felt! Perfect for this transitioning period between Summer and Fall. And ATTENTION, ladies, every woman should own a leather pencil skirt - you can tuck in a button-down blouse, t-shirt, or even a tank top and still always look put together and chic.

    After running around all day, I had one last appointment before heading to all the exciting events of Fashion’s Night Out. I had to make a quick visit to Vogue to pull some outfits from their legendary closet. Remember what I said in my previous post about having to do a last minute pull for a secret client?

     I needed to pull a couple of looks for Darren Criss’ appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue later that night for a FNO signing with Anna Wintour! I can’t help but feel like I’m a kid in a candy shop. It’s sometimes so surreal for me that I have to pinch myself and see where I’m at - in Vogue’s closet!

    After styling a few different outfit choices, I have them sent over to Darren to try on so we can finalize his FNO look.

    I literally have an hour before I need to head over to Saks Fifth Avenue for Darren’s signing, so I quickly change my top for a silk sleeveless blouse (can you believe I found this at GoodWill for $4?!), throw on a necklace, and change my wedges to my studded ankle boots. I like wearing pieces, like this leather skirt, that can transition easily from day to night. For me, comfort is extremely important. I need to be able to be on my feet without thinking about how bad they hurt from being in heels!

    Darren Criss and Anna Wintour. What a major moment, right? Darren is wearing an Antonio Azzuolo double-breasted jacket with an Emporio Armani shirt and TopMan pants. Anna is looking fab in her snakeskin jacket and skirt.

    Loved seeing all of the fans that came out to this Fashion Night’s Out event at Saks! Hopefully, everyone got their copy of Vogue signed!
